Overview
Forge3D aims to deliver high-quality 3D-printed and customized products with transparent service
standards, while acknowledging the unique, made-to-order nature of additive manufacturing.
Return Eligibility
- Standard (non-custom) products: Eligible for return or replacement within 7 days of delivery if unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Custom or personalized items: Generally non-returnable and non-refundable due to their made-to-spec nature; defects in manufacturing or errors beyond agreed tolerances qualify for reprint or replacement.
- Consumables/accessories: Filaments and accessories may be returned only if unopened and sealed; opened consumables are not eligible unless defective.
Defects, Damage, or Wrong Item
- Report within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/videos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
- For transit damage, retain all packaging; note visible damage with the courier at delivery when possible.
- Eligible cases will be repaired, reprinted, replaced, or refunded at Forge3D’s discretion after inspection.
Dimensional Tolerances and Quality
- 3D prints may exhibit minor layer lines, surface textures, and color shade variations inherent to the process; these are not considered defects.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, typical tolerance is ±0.3 mm or ±0.5%, whichever is greater; issues outside agreed tolerances qualify for reprint or replacement.
Non-Returnable Items
- Customized/personalized prints (including color, text, logo, or geometry specified by the customer).
- Items used, altered, or damaged after delivery.
- Opened consumables (e.g., filament), unless proven defective on arrival.
- Clearance or “final sale” items where stated at purchase.
Order Cancellations
- Standard items: Cancellation possible until dispatch; post-dispatch, standard return rules apply.
- Custom orders: Cancellable only before production starts; after production begins, cancellation is not possible. If materials/design
work has started, a partial fee may apply.
Return Process
- Initiate a request: Email support@forge3d.in within the applicable window, including order ID, issue description, and photos/videos.
- Authorization: Ship returns only after receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns without an RMA may be refused.
- Packaging: Use original packaging or equivalent protection; include all accessories and documentation.
- Shipping costs: Customer bears return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect due to Forge3D’s error.
Inspection and Resolution
- Upon receipt, Forge3D will inspect within 3–5 business days and notify approval or rejection
- If approved:
- Replacement/reprint dispatched within standard lead times, or
- Refund issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank processing times may vary).
